To start let’s look at the foundation that I work from with a client. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and my role as a therapist is to be a guide to walk alongside you in your journey. I see each person as unique in their experiences and what has brought them to this point, thus I tailor and personalize the treatment approach to the needs of the particular client I am working with at the time. After completing the first session with the client we discuss if therapy were successful what would their life feel and look like; from this we begin to formulate goals and possibilities. We meeting weekly at the beginning to find the personalized coping tools for you, build foundational progress in the goals, and develop the therapeutic relationship of trust and sense of safety a key predictive factor for success in therapy. Research from the National Library of Medicine’s study by Ardito and Rabellino (2011), found that 23 of the 24 studies supported this key success factor.
Once we have embarked on the work together, I am identifying and utilizing your strengths and capabilities to support the goals we are working towards. For me this is key in healing as it reflects to the client their internal strength that already exists within them, and how we can harness this to open up the possibilities for further healing and growth. I believe healing is unique to each person, and I see my role as bringing all my knowledge and experience alongside my intuition and holistic approaches to find the specific blueprint to healing for the client. In this regard this is why no two sessions are alike, and no session could be replicated. I aim to work together with clients to break down the door to their freedom and power, and fully bloom in to the person they were born to be.
